The BRC3K Long Range Surveillance Camera is designed to provide high precision positioning for long range
surveillance applications, with minimal impact of wind-driven torque on image stability.
The use of iDrive servos in each of the axes, together with the low polar inertia of the centrally located payload,
enables accurate trapezoidal velocity profiles to be translated for precision programmable tracking with extremely
smooth acceleration.
The advanced carbon composite housing incorporates tuned attenuation interlayers, which provide a high performance
RFI-screened enclosure. The platform uses 32-bit digital signal processing to manipulate the payload with minimum
power consumption resulting in class-leading levels of RF emissions.
The platform lends itself to the integration of a range of reflective or refractive optics for the visual and near infrared
spectra, and the wide front objective enables large aperture optics to be used, along with supplementary wide field of
view cameras for contextual imagery. The prime lens system is typically 300-3000mm F12.
