The HRD500 High Resolution Platform is widely used in harsh military applications, and is particularly suited to mast
mounting for 24/7 use. It uses high-accuracy sensors for target location in coastal and border surveillance and 32-bit
digital processing in each axis for accuracy-controlled positioning and load compensation. Large payloads can be
positioned accurately with minimum power consumption and very high reliability.
The HRD500 is ideal for use with military vehicles where several sensors are used within the electro-optical suite.
The platform offers easy integration with Radar and alarm-based systems, and is available with very high precision
gearboxes, which have almost no perceivable backlash, for very high running accuracy.
The platform is well suited to
harsh environments with minimal maintenance.
The use of advanced iDrive servos in each axis enables accurate trapezoidal velocity profiles to be translated precisely
for precision tracking applications.
