The TIS600 System Thermal Imaging Camera is an affordable solution for base and border surveillance.
The uncooled detector operates in the 8-13μm band and is ideally suited to human recognition. The camera's native
resolution is 320x240 pixels but internal processing extends this to the video standard specified. The imager uses
advanced processing to provide clear images ideal for daily surveillance activities and is specifically intended to support
a daylight channel in its system role.
The uncooled detector has very high reliability and minimal maintenance requirements. With a narrow field of view
of 0.3mrads the thermal imager is ideal for general surveillance up to two km. The housing has been designed to
withstand harsh environments and the unit has a good EMC capability. The camera is provided with a continuous
electronic magnification facility, in addition to the optical dual field of view, and this may be used in either focal length.
Generally the camera will be used in a fully automatic mode, but remote manual control is possible. When controlling
the camera from a remote location, full control of gain, offset, magnification and processing is available.
